West Huntsville Youth is the group of young people between 6th and 12th grade that attend West Huntsville Church of Christ. This group takes the child from KiCS and starts them down a path to further service and leadership. The members of this group are given the opportunity to serve in many ways and to lead in some ways as well. This is an active group of young people. THey love to spend time together and serve the Lord.
WHY meets most Saturday evenings for activities. Each month includes a devotional, a singing, and one fun night. The other Saturday evenings in the month (first and fifth) are reserved for the family. Once each month, the West Huntsville Youth attend an Area Wide Devotional. This gives them the opportunity to meet other Christian boys and girls as well as a chance to worship and learn with them.
WHY conducts worship services on the first Sunday of each month for nursing homes in Madison, AL or Huntsville, AL. The group leaves the West Huntsville building immediately after Sunday morning Bible classes and have lunch together. They then do the services for the nursing homes. After the services, they return to the West Huntsville building and spend the afternoon in training and fellowship.
